The Laser Excel V+
The Excel V+ by Cutera is the most advanced aesthetic technology that combines two powerfully precise lasers to target and eliminate vascular concerns (redness, unsightly veins) and benign pigmented lesions (age spots, sunspots, discolouration) on the face and body.
The Excel V+ will generally require 2-4 treatments. Treatments can take between 30-60 minutes. This will all be based on your condition.
The treatments can feel similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin, with any discomfort alleviated by the device’s integrated cooling tip applied to the skin.
Redness and/or swelling can be expected following the treatment, this will resolve in 3-7 days.
Treatment cost depends on the condition and treatment area. This will be determined upon assessment at your consultation.
Laser Genesis
Laser Genesis is a breakthrough non-ablative laser treatment that stimulates the skin’s natural processes to diminish the signs of ageing and sun damage to promote a vibrant and healthy complexion.

Micro pulses are gently delivered to the skin. The laser stimulates the body’s own processes to activate collagen remodelling to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and unwanted brown spots. Although the individual treatment results are subtle, the overall effect of a treatment series can be quite dramatic.
You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the procedure. Patients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic.
A series of six Laser Genesis treatments is recommended to achieve an optimal outcome. Improvements are gradual and will be seen over a period of a few months after the last treatment. To sustain results over time, ongoing maintenance treatments are encouraged.

A comprehensive initial consultation is performed to ensure both you and Clinician are comfortable to take the next step and create a plan to prepare you for your treatment.
Your areas of concern will be highlighted and attended to with your Clinician providing you the explanation, education and treatment options available.
A consultation takes around 30 minutes. After deciding to go ahead with your treatment, the consultation cost will be deducted from your first treatment.
Pre skin cancer check
It is important to ensure that your skin is in a healthy condition prior to laser treatment. If there is any concern about the safety of any pigmentation areas, it is recommended that you have a skin check to ensure that only benign pigmented lesions are being treated with Laser.

WHAT IS EXCEL V+?
excel V+ is the fast and easy way to treat visible veins, discoloration and wrinkles. It is one of the most advanced aesthetic laser technology treatments, combining two powerfully precise lasers to target and eliminate unwanted reds, browns, purples and blues on the face and body.
WHAT DOES EXCEL V+ TREAT?
excel V+ treats more than twenty unique aesthetic and dermatologic skin concerns. The most common excel V+ treatments include rosacea, facial and leg veins, age/brown spots, and acne scars.
HOW DOES EXCEL V+ WORK?
The Clinician will select one of excel V+’s two lasers and customize the treatment settings to target the colour and depth of your skin concern. Most treatments are finished in around ten minutes and results are typically seen after a series of 1-3 treatment sessions.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EXCEL V+?

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? WHAT ABOUT DOWNTIME?

For full face treatments, swelling will peak 24 to 48 hours post treatment and usually resolves within a few days. Bruising is uncommon. Treated brown spots will darken following the treatment and slough off within 2 weeks.

Consultation: A consultation takes around 30 minutes and costs $55. After deciding to go ahead with your treatment, the consultation cost will be deducted from your first treatment.
Laser treatments: $440 per treatment area. ( eg. face or neck or hands). This will vary based on the number of treatments, treatment areas and treatment time required, which can be discussed following your consultation.
